Consumer Credit Courses

PLEASE READ: This update is effective as of September, 2024. Due to the increasingly strict regulatory environment surrounding credit repair as an industry, we at NWICR feel it is no longer possible to operate a repair business under the traditional model of directly interacting with consumers (clients) and assisting them with understanding their credit files and preparing communications with credit bureaus, furnishers, and/or collections agencies. NWICR is in the process of re-establishing itself as an education provider as a part of the NWIFL (Northwest Institute for Learning) brand. In the coming months we plan to offer self-help courses that teach consumers how to properly read their own credit files, identify potential errors, and guide them in drafting communications to bureaus, furnishers, or collections agencies. In order to remain compliant with U.S.C. Title 15, Chapter 41, Subchapter II-A, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Telemarketing Sales Rules, the courses will focus on how to exercise your individual consumer rights, rather than improving credit worthiness or a promise to increase one's credit score. Clients will have to determine themselves any impact to their scores through the educational materials provided by NWICR.
